Perhaps it is a futile gesture, but we have decided to live out our lives in this place and are currently restoring the home so it can live it's last years with dignity.
A style of it's own, the Bobka Baby life is a combination of farmhouse, french decor and shabby chic. We place value on nature and live simply. This is a journal of our world.

An introduction
Sometimes it is hard to know where to begin, all thoughts are tangled together without sequence, beginning or end. I live just outside of town on 7 acres of land that was once part of a 25 acre apple orchard but is now surrounded by an industrial park. The home, originally built around 1850, was moved from it's original location at the corner of our street to where it stands now, a bit forlorn and needing quite a lot of repair. The sad part is that being surrounded as we are by an industrial park, we are now zoned commercial and this will eventually be torn down and covered over with cement. Our life here will only be a brief memory.
Perhaps it is a futile gesture, but we have decided to live out our lives in this place and are currently restoring the home so it can live it's last years with dignity.
